Document design for web design agency

WSIpowerontheweb

Having met in 2009 at a Business Link workshop which he was presenting, Richard Wagstaff of WSIpowerontheweb, based near Doncaster, got in back touch with me several months later.  He wanted to 'upgrade' his corporate documents - particularly client reports and proposals - which he felt would benefit from a sharper look (seems like he'd kept my business card, then!!).

This work initially involved the formatting, layout and branding of his existing monthly client report template, to meet a tight deadline.  The commission then quickly expanded into creating a fully branded suite of new report and proposal templates, electronic letterheads and compliment slips for in-house printing, PowerPoint templates, provision of advice on document and questionnaire content, style and layout, proof-reading and document design.  The work primarily centred on documents using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), but also made use of Google Docs to enable full remote working with Richard and his team.

Richard was so pleased with the improvements in his documents, he asked me to redesign and source new business cards for his entire team.

The way Richard uses me to work as an 'outsourced team member' to support his business means he can come back to me whenever he needs help with a document - anything from "this table doesn't look right - can you sort it?" to "this proposal needs to go out quickly - can you make it look great?"  He is confident that I am familiar with his brand and know what style will be acceptable to him - and for him, that makes presentation easy!

"Thank you so much for the amazing work you have been doing on our internal and external documents.  We have been wanting to update these documents and really make them a part of our competitive edge but have never really known how to do it and no-one in our office has the eye for it like you do.

You have been so quick to turn things around, and you have used your initiative - what I thought would be a nightmare task has turned out to be a walk in the park and I am delighted with the results!

It is a pleasure working with you - what else can you do for us?!"
